The Second Annual “See the Good” Suicide Prevention Benefit Concert will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM MIDNIGHT.
The goal of the event is to raise funds and awareness for Suicide Prevention Programs (education, awareness, survivor/family support, hotline, research and treatment, healthcare reform and advocacy) as well as show support for survivors and remember those lost. Proceeds of this event benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Local musicians and artists will donate their time and talents for a benefit concert and silent art auction. Local businesses and sponsors are generously donating money, goods and services to support the event costs and donating items for the raffle. Food, beverages and alcohol are available for purchase at the show.
This is an all-ages event, children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Numerous volunteers are helping to coordinate resources, supplies and logistics as well as staff the event to make the night a success. Over 20 local bands and musicians are scheduled to perform throughout the night on multiple stages.
If you would like to volunteer, sponsor or donate, please contact the Event Director Michele McTierney, or visit our website and facebook event page and volunteer group to learn more.
